Coffee Trips was born in Addis Ababa, where coffee is more than a drink, it is part of daily life, culture, and connection. What began as a way to share Ethiopia’s story through travel has evolved into a company built around two connected missions: facilitating global business travel and opening international markets for Ethiopian coffee producers through direct, transparent trade.
At its core, Coffee Trips specializes in business travel and international trade connections within the coffee industry. We work closely with Ethiopian cooperatives, associations, exporters, roasters, cafés, and buyers to create meaningful partnerships across borders. From coordinating origin trips and trade visits to representing producers at international events and exhibitions, we help bridge the gap between Ethiopian coffee communities and the global market.
Too often, the farmers and cooperatives behind exceptional coffees are excluded from the opportunities their work creates. Coffee Trips exists to change that. We support producers in accessing international buyers on their own terms, ensuring greater visibility, stronger representation, and more value retained at origin. For buyers and industry partners, this means authentic relationships, traceable coffees, and long-term partnerships built with integrity.
In partnership with its sister company, Aromax Trading, Coffee Trips also processes and exports its own specialty coffee.
