Itinerary 1: Capital, Culture & Mountains (7 Nights)
Day 1: Arrive in Tirana
We’ll land in Tirana and head straight to the hotel. This day is about relaxing, catching your breath, and settling in. No rush — just a cozy welcome to Albania's vibrant capital.
Day 2: A Stroll Through Tirana’s Past & Present
Let’s dive into the heartbeat of Albania. I’ll take you on a walking tour through the capital — from Skanderbeg Square to Et’hem Bey Mosque, quirky cafes, and relics from Albania’s communist era. You’ll love the vibe.
Day 3: Hike Day — Gamti Mountain & Lake Bovilla
Pack your comfy shoes — we’re heading into nature! A scenic drive takes us to Lake Bovilla, a hidden gem below Mount Gamti. We’ll do a light hike to a stunning viewpoint where teal waters meet endless forests.
Day 4: Kruja Castle, Bazaars & Sari Salltik Views
History lovers — this one’s for you. We’ll road trip to Kruja, step inside a real mountaintop castle, explore the charming Old Bazaar, and finish at Sari Salltik, a spiritual site with epic mountain views.
Day 5: Optional – Southern Beach Escape to Ksamil & Saranda
If you’re up for it, join me on a full-day road trip down the Albanian Riviera. From Himara’s castle ruins to the crystal-clear waters of Ksamil (aka “The Maldives of Europe”), this drive is pure magic.
Day 6: Farewell Tirana
Today is our last full day in Albania. After breakfast, feel free to shop for souvenirs, have one last stroll, and soak up the city before we say goodbye.
Day 7: Departure
Time to pack up and head home with hearts full and camera rolls overflowing. Until next time!
Itinerary 2: The Beach & Beyond - 8 Nights
Day 1: Arrive in Tirana
We’ll meet in Tirana and transfer to the hotel. Get comfy — the coast is calling!
Day 2: Hike to Bovilla Lake
We’ll start the trip with a dose of fresh air and Albanian wild beauty. From Gamti Mountain’s viewpoint, you’ll see the vibrant lake shimmer below — a peaceful, energizing escape from the city.
Day 3: Off to Saranda — Beach Life Begins
Time to head south! After checking into our Saranda hotel, we’ll explore the beach. Golden hour here is something else.
Day 4: Blue Eye Spring & Sunset at Lekursi Castle
One word: WOW. The Blue Eye is a surreal turquoise spring hidden in the forest. Then we’ll head up to Lekursi Castle just in time to watch the sunset over the Ionian Sea. A view you won’t forget.
Day 5: Free Beach Day (Or Add a Boat Trip!)
Today is for you. Walk to the beach, sip coffee seaside, or opt in for a boat tour to hidden beaches like Kakome and Krorez.
Day 6: Back to Tirana
After a relaxed morning in Saranda, we’ll make our way back north. Nap on the bus or watch the dramatic coastline roll by.
Day 7: Tirana Vibes & Wrap-Up
Spend the day soaking up anything you missed — café hopping, shopping, or just journaling the trip. One last group dinner before we go.
Day 8: Departure
Time to fly home — but something tells me this won’t be our last Albanian adventure together.
