Ethiopian coffee exporters, roasters, and industry stakeholders are invited to join a curated trade delegation to South Africa this April, a growing market with strong demand for premium, traceable Ethiopian coffee.
While Ethiopian coffee is globally celebrated, much of its value creation and pricing power remains outside our direct control. In many cases, our coffee enters African markets indirectly, limiting margins and long-term commercial positioning. As AfCFTA accelerates intra-African trade and South Africa’s coffee sector continues to expand, this is a strategic moment for Ethiopian businesses to build direct market relationships within the continent.
Organized by CoffeeTrips and Techroast, in partnership with the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) South Africa, AfCFTA stakeholders, Invest South Africa, and GGDA, this focused B2B mission connects Ethiopian delegates directly with South African buyers, distributors, roasters, and industry leaders in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
